I have never been to a gym.I bought a weight bench and worked out at home.It felt so good when those endorphins kicked in,and after working out,my body as well as my mind felt relaxed.I was making real progress.I got really toned and started developing some nice muscle mass due to my use of increasingly heavier weights, then I stopped.I am talking like 20 years ago here! It’s too bad.I read that when you start at a younger age, that it’s easier to continue with the weights and the training well into your 40’s,50’s and even your 60’s…your body is already used to the pain and workouts. So I will really have to start from scratch again.Oh well. :-)

    Thanks for the great videos!

    Thanks Perry,

I also used to work out when I was younger a lot. I was really into body building back then. I never got huge but I was definitely in great shape. Like you I gave it up and wish I never did. I have joined a gym here and there but never had the discipline to keep going. The only time I did was when I worked for this one company that had a gym in their basement. Then it was easy to go before or after work. I wish I could afford to join one now because the one near me has a pool and as you know I love the water and it is excellent exercise for me. Until then I will continue to work out at home. I think you are right, getting started is the hardest part. Once you start it is easier to keep it up.

We will one day be in that young body again if we apply ourselves. Good luck to you.

    God Bless,

    Brian, the old man
